About Windy City Linen

Rob earned a BBA in accounting from the University of Iowa and spent ten years in public accounting, specializing in small business and tax planning.

He then branched out into dry cleaning, where he oversaw day-to-day operations. Spotting an under-served market, Rob and his brother grew the business into one of the largest dry cleaners on the North Shore.

While there, Rob and his partners saw a similar opening in event linen and started Windy City Linen. Combining their production and retail experience, they have built it into one of the premier providers of event linen in the Chicagoland area.

Henry, one of the founders of Windy City Linen, serves as the organization's Chief Operating Officer, working directly with department managers to achieve the company's goals.

Henry prides himself on providing the best products and service to our clients. Prior to Windy City Linen, Henry came from a third-generation family of food manufacturing. Henry brings a wealth of management experience to the company.

Marcela Miramontes is Managing Partner of Windy City Linen, bringing more than 25 years in the linen industry and over 20 years of management experience to the role. She began her career in 1999 and joined Windy City Linen in 2009 as a Customer Service Representative, rising to General Manager and then Managing Partner. Along the way she has played an integral part in the company's growth, operations, and sales strategy.

Known for hands-on leadership and deep industry knowledge, Marcela oversees daily operations and sales while building long-term customer relationships and identifying new opportunities for the business. Her approach pairs attention to detail and responsiveness with a practical understanding of what it takes to deliver consistent quality and dependable service to the hospitality and special events industries.

Marcela holds an MBA and stays active in the events community as a member of the NACE Southern Wisconsin and Greater Chicago chapters, where she keeps up with industry trends, builds relationships, and brings new ideas and resources back to Windy City Linen and its clients.

A Chicago native, Marcela is passionate about hospitality and events and takes pride in relationships that last well beyond a single order. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and spending time with family and friends.

With 35 years in the event industry, Debra helps clients bring their celebrations to life through thoughtful linen and rental selections. Her energy, attention to detail, and genuine care for her clients have earned her numerous accolades and a reputation for excellence.

Known as the team cheerleader, Debra encourages everyone around her to be their best, personally and professionally, with her signature “Go get ’em!” spirit. Outside of work, she volunteers as a breast cancer mentor with Imerman Angels. She calls Chicago home, along with her three French bulldogs, and loves exploring the city’s food and culture.

A native of Wisconsin, Tera has achieved a lot in her 20 years in the special events industry. She is a role model for the entire Windy City brand.

During her long and distinguished career in the hospitality field through various positions in the Milwaukee area, she never wavered in the values that have made her special to her team and customers alike: a positive outlook, incredible energy, strong leadership, and an ever-present smile.

When not in the role of @terathelinenlady, she spends the nights as a “mom” uber, transporting kids to various sporting events or traveling with family.

Brooke is an outside sales specialist with over 20 years of sales experience. A native of the Chicago area her entire life, Brooke graduated from Southern Illinois University with a BS in Interior Architectural Design.

In 2021, Brooke brought her experience in sales and the special event industry to Windy City Linen. “My combined passion for design and past professional background of Country Club Management and Event Planning makes event decor sales the perfect career for me! I love that my work takes me to the most beautiful spaces, gifted the opportunity to work with creative people and no two projects are ever the same.”

She continues to live in the greater Chicago area, where she enjoys networking with organizations associated with professional and personal interests. Brooke aspires to establish and sustain strong relationships among the Windy City team and clients. In her free time, Brooke enjoys time with her friends, family including her Bernedoodle George Michael, and traveling.
